AR for the sake of AR?

Augmented Reality is such a cool new technology, so when I see it being used just for the sake of using it when it has no relation to a brand or it's messaging, it annoys me! UPS use of it, totally relevant, cool and useful. Always not so much, what in the world does this have to do with feminine protection? Why would this drive people to the site or engage them enough for them to forward it or even purchase the product?
Using technology for the sake of using it can sometimes pay off if it gets consumers interested in your product but when it's used in this manner i think it has the opposite effect. Nice try P&G maybe you should stick to traditional methods or use an agency that knows how to make effective use of technology.
